I agree with the too many forums/subforums comments. We have something over 70 on clubWRX, and people complain about it all the time. There are people who only participate in one forum, and the rest of the gang never get to know them. Plus, if there's a thread on tires (for instance) in one subforum, no one in the other brand's forum will see it, even if it pertains to them as well.

3 Cents?

We are trying to help this forum explode and in reality theres not too many forums. I just counted, there are only 14 main topics, and then 4 at the bottom (but we have 6 listed if we have people that want those opened up) that are all identical for different makes. All the main ones are up top and then the ones on the bottom are all car specific. Its kind of like "A sub forum" for our main forum if that makes sense. We kind of wanted a place where just the individual groups can talk to eachother. But, the main forum is a place for everyone!

We kind of want this to go as it is currently for a little while and see how everything works out and then go from there. If we need to condense we will. If we need to change stuff around, we will! We also expanded it how we did because just how we had it before was WAY too complicated and it just became clustered to hell and back. Once we get more people (Hopefully like quadruple in size) we will be able to take full advantage of having this website how it is!

Your opinion has been talked about among us a few times already with size, and that was pretty much our conclusion! We will see though!

Thanks for the explanation. I mostly use the "View New Posts" button, and just open ones I'm interested in in another tab. So I don't really know which forum I'm in anyway. It just looked busy all of a sudden on the front page. (I was looking for the "Photography" thread and couldn't find it. Eventually I looked at my own profile and looked for my own posts to find it. )

Thanks Steve! And yes, this site will take some adjusting to get used to, but I think we organized it in the most efficient way possible! If anyone needs any help with anything, I am always welcome to PM! I will be able to respond to you quite promptly because I am on this site all the time to keep it running as smoothly as possible!
