OLD: Member Requirements

We have had to make some changes to our forum because of the complaints from members of all the N/A people signing up for our forced induction club. We understand that people want to turbo/supercharge their cars, but we all want things in life so we have to make a line somewhere. Everyone is welcome to our shows and anyone who pays the fee will be able to park their cars in the coned off section for our shows.

If a car is a turbo 4 cylinder car or if the person joined before a particular date (TBD by the Staff) they will receive a membership card for the discounts of our sponsors as well as full forum access.

If you do not meet those requirements, we are going to be putting you under a group called "Non Forced-4s." This will limit your forum capabilities to only being able to post in the Non Forced4s Section, non-car related thread, and all the classifieds. You will still be able to read all the posts in everything else though.

We want to remind people that this thread as determined by everyone that was here originally is only for club purposes. It is not a technical thread by any means. Obviously, those looking for local shops/help with wrenching or anything else like that you are fully welcomed to do that. That is part of a club. For the technical threads, a list will be below.

now what about blackflme? he is about to put an SRT-4 swap in his neon, cant he get posting privileges, he is always at the meets and is down to earth kool kid too

We can`t discriminate and allow some people but restrict others. As soon as his car is up and running with the swap, he is going to be getting his privileges back. We have a clear cut line now and we are sticking to it.

We know it won`t make everyone happy that we are being strict about it. But that will never happen. We had to make a cutoff point and we did. We are throwing some ideas around with making it more N/A friendly.

Staff meeting tonight came up with a conclusion for the forum. We are going to be making a N/A Section (tomorrow most likely). It will be the fourth section on this forum. And the users will also have posting privileges in there as well as the classifieds and non-car related. Same rules apply as before with them that they can read everything else but only post in those sections!

who to say that someone doesn't just lie about there car saying that its turbo when its really not.... i like the idea of keeping this club a forced club. i mean it is call Forced4's for a reason. i just dont want ppl to lie about there cars. im sure u guys will fig something out.

We have some faith in people these days. If people do lie (I wish it wasn`t like that) I will ban them and their e-mails will go on a ban list for the site. It`s as easy as that.
