STi in Brunswick and 2 Evos on I-80

I was driving my Dad's 50th Anniversary Corvette convertible. Him and I were up in Brunswick looking at a Grand Prix GTP, the one I used to have was a great car and not only do I need a winter ride but my younger brother is going to be getting his license soon and it would be a good car for him. It would be a nice way for me to get an extra year to find my own winter ride and my Brother could have it once he gets his license and I've fixed it up some.

Anyhow, first I saw the 06/07 WRB STi, I accidentally waved to you without even thinking about the fact I was in the Vette and not my STi. My dad started laughing until I realized what I did. You definitely had an exhaust but I didn't notice anything else.

The first Evo was a black Evo X, couldn't tell all the mods because you were going the other way getting off of I-80 while I was getting on but you could have been any one of the black Evos that was at last week's Hoggy's meet.

The second Evo was a clean looking debadged black VIII or IX, I couldn't tell. Tinted windows and stock BBS wheels. I held up my iPhone with the STi logo on the screen, and gave you a thumbs up when I exited the turnpike. You were headed East on I-80 and I got off at the exit for RT 5.

About what time was the STi spotted? Most likely it was me... I went up to Applebees this evening to hang out with a friend and just got home a little while ago.

Hmm probably between 7-7:15. I was in a burgundy convertible Corvette. Wish I knew where I actually was but I'm not familiar with the area I was in.

Well now I'm confused. I was driving on 303 around 6:15p and left Applebees around 8:15p. You might have spotted Gary, hes one of the techs at the Subaru dealership who lives in Brunswick and drives an '06 wrb STi. He mentioned a while back that he had an exhaust lying around... maybe he finally got around to putting it on.

I thought he got rid of the car? I havent seen it in their driveway for a long while (assuming you're talking about the guy who lives off Laurel) who also has a lady driving it.. I've noticed the house has a new gen camaro (RS) in the driveway and have not seen the STi lately.

That is the one I was talking about. That would be unfortunate if he got rid of the STi for a Camaro RS... Maybe he is keeping the STi in the garage?
