As some of you know, I bought the car about 2 months ago in rough exterior shape. The paint was faded, top is torn, taillight busted, front bumper was improperly repainted with flaking clearcoat and the back bumper had a gouge in it. Well I started off buffing the car and it came back pretty well, shaved all the emblems, painted the mirrors and front and back bumpers because of the horrible fading. I also got a flat black hardtop (will be painted red in springtime), touge front lip and TSIs. Enjoy the pics knowing that this is only a start and it will look much better.

Thanks! Yes, for those that saw it before my initial detail, they know it was pink from being faded so bad! I`m actually real happy with how good it came out after the buff and paint.

Its either going to be black or nickel (a dull chrome kind of) 15x9s

when is your goal for completion on the car?

It will never be completed. I plan on racing the hell out of it. But some of my goals:
1) Basic Interior/Safety stuff (rollbar, seat, harness, wheel, minor gutting) by spring time
2) Dialed in suspension and finished exterior - end of summer
3) Become a better driver x1000
4) Start saving my pennies for the big track build

On-going: Car development changes and start trying to inch out those 1/10s of a second through driving
