Honest opinions on this rare spoiler

I went to my folks' house and ran into my old Kaminari spoiler in the attic that I forgot I even had. Had dust all over it but after a cleaning it still looks great, minus a few nicks here and there. Now this is not an eBay spoiler..., and this is the first unit produced out of 2,000 (number 1 is etched into the bottom of the spoiler base). I've been running wingless for a while, but it seems like every Neon SRT on the road either has trunk plugs or the stock spoiler so I tossed it back on to see how I liked it and I honestly don't think it looks too bad, albeit a little boxy. Just wondering what others thought of it. It hugs the trunk nicely and isn't obnoxious in size, and like I said, I have yet to see any locals with this spoiler (they were quite expensive new). It's a 3-piece spoiler that comes apart where you can actually replace the blade with other blades (like carbon fiber). Anyways, here are a few pics...and a pic of my new radiator shroud to represent FF!

I am not well versed in the SRT community, but I would say this wing does set you apart from the majority of whats out there. I like in my opinion, its different and you have the ability to customize it in the future you said, so that is always a plus. My 2 cents would be to keep it.

Thanks. Even Matt said it's a good looking spoiler and he's a picky person. I'm going for more of a uniqueness factor than anything and you never see these spoilers around but you always see the stock spoiler or spoiler plugs for the wingless look. I think it looks much more aggressive than the stock spoiler but not obnoxious enough to look ridiculous and out of place. I don't know, I tend to change my mind on a whim regarding things but I figured since I have it, and it's rare, I may as well use it for a while at least.

Yeah there's no real happy medium with it...either you like it or you don't.

I have one of those spoilers on my astrovan. JK

It does set you apart though, you gonna leave it matte, or get it glossed up to match?

It was painted flat black on the ends, gloss on the blade. When it gets resprayed it's going to get resprayed entirely gloss black, but even the matte finish on the ends look pretty damn good (even got a complement today at the gas station, surprisingly). I plan to have the entire car resprayed this fall, though. OEM color with pearl mixed in, then Wiggy and I are pulling our motors and re-doing our engine bays and doing wire-tucks.

Absolutely not, but then again it is YOUR car man lol. Skittles will always only look good with stock spoiler IMO but it's nice to set you apart from all the other black neons in Ohio.

I mean it's growing on me a bit...still unsure. Won't keep it in the long-run since I'm going the CF trunk route at some point but honestly the stock spoiler is so "done" and the spoiler holes kept driving me crazy:

Good thing about stuff like this is you can take them off and on easy
