    Progress.. 06 OBP STi

Figured I'd start a thread of my own, since its unlikely my car will ever be clean or at any of the meets.

    April of 2009: Spring Cleaning,

Stage 2, HKS HiPower, ERZ Downpipe, Cobb AP OTS Map for 91 Octane and Saguaro National Park in Tucson, AZ. Also 235/40 tires

Classy Plasti-Dip Interior to get rid of the annoying soft plastic silver

Survived getting rear ended by a Buick in a freak drizzle in Tucson, gained 04/05 taillights with JDM mod, and Borla Hush CBE

Survived getting rear ended again, while I stopped for a train in Tucson. Gained ZeroSports JDM 02/03 WRX bumper, also a flat tire from glass, gained Prodrive 18" 7 spokes. added front tint and moved back to Ohio. Since moving to ohio, baked and painted the interior of the headlights 500* Enamel Semi-gloss black. (Removed ambers too)

Reppin' the people that helped me get bit with the mod bug.

In there but not pictured: Whiteline 22mm adj rear sway bar with stiffy mounts (spray painted white in honor of my friends 96L Impreza wagon w/ 2005 WRX swap found here http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ghlight=amroof), Cusco front strut brace, Greddy rear strut brace, hawk HPS pads, Open Source tuned by me @ 18psi-ish, AEM Wideband, Prosport boost gauge, cheap 2 x 52mm pod.

Future plans include: my wedding in september, so no new parts until after then.. Then I'll be adding snow tires to go on the stock BBS' and come next spring should be the start of the rest of the suspension upgrades, as well as a 20G and top-feed conversion.

I love all the little details you've like the interior console looks awesome. You now just need the black inserts, not that that is my business, but here is a link to where I hope to get mine. http://www.flatironstuning.com/p-172...x-and-sti.aspx

Car looks great man. Congrats on getting married, soon enough it will be here!

Thanks guys, It took me 3 tries to get them to show up here, because first I used the Picasa direct links (no go) then I moved them all to imageshack.us (no go) then finally bit the bullet and used photobucket.

I like the look of the black dials there, but for 125 bucks (Sheesh) I think I could better use some performance stuff. At a later date, i'll get into some of the other "custom" stuff thats done, for instance the wagon I linked the owner is a welder and made up a set of custom fender braces for the GD chassis, when I install them i'll post some results, also the braces for the rear sway are custom welded too, the license plate illum is a lil something something I cooked up while @ work in AZ and is too a pretty neat little touch.

The astounding thing about it, would be the amount of $ spent. So far the most expensive component is the AEM wideband @ 200 USD (Full retail price). What I really need is a place that can do SLA/SLS 3D printing to print a little something something I designed.

Looks great man! I REALLY like the plasti dipped trim pieces, I don't care for the stock silver either. I'm eventually going to wrap mine in some 3M di-noc CF material. Kinda ricey but I don't care. Thought about painting the trim OBP since I have some left over from the headlights but I'm not sure how that would look.

How load is the Borla hush? I bought the XR-1 because i heard it was pretty quiet (and it is compared to exhaust like the HKS and Greddy stuff).

Prototyping, I have a .stp file of the 3D model, as well as a 3D PDF and a few images... would like to get a few produced, but i'm having trouble finding a reasonably priced place to do it, my good friend and best man at my wedding offered at 100 bucks per attempt, i'm guessing i may need to tweak this mystery device after a proto is printed... here's a snapshot.

Also, the borla hush is much quieter than the HKS HiPower i used to have, the hush is fiancee approved and really only gets loud @ WOT.
